The Second Thief

Reading The Second Thief by Travis Thrasher is a pleasant way to spend a weekend. It is an easy read with a good story. It draws you in at the beginning and keeps you interested. While you can see the direction the story seems to be heading, it is not sappy at all and yet not belligerent. It is a seemingly real way of thinking in a catastrophic situation, one that causes questioning and contemplation. Although the story did take a turn I did not see coming, I am not sure I completely enjoyed the ending, although I do like how the author left the conclusion of the story to the reader. This is a good enough story that will leave you thinking about life and the way it plays out.
