The Maestro
by T Davis Bunn
The Maestro is an intriguing look into the life of a very talented individual who must decide whether or not he will use his gift for God's glory and, if so, how. The story of Gianni takes us through his early years, where his "service" was done because that is what his grandmother decided he would do, through years of a more self-centered approach, and finally to a synthesis, in which Gianni determines for himself what his relationship with God will be and what part his immense talent will play in that relationship.
The Maestro is well written and engaging. It is thoughtful, and I think it has something to offer to any Chrsitian reader. I recommend it without reservation.
