Taylor Field has been ministering in the inner city of New York since 1986. He has a B.A. degree from Wake Forest, a M.Div. from Princeton Seminary, and a Ph.D. from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. He continues to pastor E. 7th Baptist Church and Graffiti Community Ministries. He has written two books on the city--A Church Called Graffiti and Mercy Streets. He has had experience working with people who live in abandoned buildings--the subject of this book.
